Tips & Tricks

Give details of driving licences held ie. Motorcycle, car, HGV, PSV. Also declare details of any points on your licence.

Give details of previous employment starting with the most recent first. You should give as much detail as possible about your duties in each job.

Give details of schools, colleges, universities or other training establishments attended starting with the most recent first. You should list any examinations taken and any training courses attended, as well as grades and results awarded.

It is also very important that you give great detail on your skills and what they will offer to the current vacancy you’re applying for. You should include any relevant information that you feel makes you particularly suitable for the job you are applying for. This may include previous experience, voluntary work, hobbies, and other relevant qualifications. If you have no formal qualifications, you might want to include anything you were good at in school.

If there is an age limit on the vacancy you will need to confirm that you meet the age requirement.
